As Group CISO, Peter Gerdenitsch is responsible for Information & Cyber Security across Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) Group since 2015. Before that Peter held several roles with RBI as well as in a big international consulting company.

Moe Shamim, Deputy CISO of US Consulting

Moe Shamim is an IT executive with over 15 years of experience devising and implementing strategies for cloud transformation, application management, data science, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance within the financial services, retail, and consulting industries.As Deputy CISO of US Consulting for Deloitte LLP, Moe leads the development and modernization of information security systems and manages cybersecurity, conducts audit readiness, and is responsible for exception approvals for ~65k employees. In his role as a Cloud Architecture and Security Manager, he facilitated multiple cloud migrations, DevOps transformation, Agile development, and M&A integration. Moe has been instrumental in positioning Deloitte as an industry leader of managed public cloud infrastructure and professional services worldwide, and key in enabling the company to garner a top spot in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for 3 years in a row.

Tishya Poteet, Enterprise API Lifecycle Mgmt and Engineering Acceleration Manager

Tishya Poteet is Head of Enterprise API Lifecycle Management and Engineering Acceleration at Wells Fargo.  She has held this role since June 2020.  Previously Tishya served as VP of Product Development for a fintech startup.  She has more than 20 years of experience leading technology teams in the financial industry.  While at Wells Fargo, she managed global development delivery teams for consumer lending products ranging from home mortgage to educational and auto finance.  She was key in modernizing the credit card platform and also brought rules engine technology to Wells Fargo.  Tishya earned a BS in Information Technology from Arizona State University.  She has a passion for bringing business and technology together and enabling others.  In her free time, Tishya loves to spend time with her husband and son (current favorite activity is Pokemon hunting), read, and hike in the Sonoran desert.

Gabriel Maties, Senior Solution Architect

Gabriel has 30+ years of IT experience, acquired while working across industries and continents. Over the past five years, he specialised in Cloud architecture design, API design and security, OAuth 2.0, Microservices architecture and service meshes (Istio, Kuma, SPIFFE, OPA), Kubernetes, Kafka and CI/CD.

Tony Curcio, Director of Product Management

For the past 20 years, Tony has been focused on helping organizations leverage data and application integration technologies to maximize the impact of their digital assets to fuel business transformation.  After years of building solutions with customers, he joined the IBM Product Management team where he led the strategy and roadmap for a diverse set of integration and governance technologies.  Tony now leads a worldwide team focused on helping customers through their digital transformation, spanning both cloud and on-premise topologies.

Michael Farnum, CTO

Michael has been in the IT and Information Security fields since 1994. During this time, Farnum has held roles such as Independent Security Consultant, LAN/WAN Administrator, Network Security Engineer, Pre-Sales Security Engineer, Security Solutions Manager, Information Security Manager, and others. Michael is the Founder and Organizer of HouSecCon, THE Houston Security Conference, and has also been a prolific information security blogger and podcaster during his career. These extracurricular roles have led to great connections and friendships with many really smart security professionals. Prior to his career in IT and security, Farnum was in the US Army and drove an M1A1 main battle tank in Desert Shield and Storm. Farnum tries to use all of these experiences to create a unique perspective on whatever issue he is trying to tackle.

Robin Smith, Head of Cyber and Information Security

Robin is a CISO and expert policy analyst, focusing his work on the future of cyber-crime. Robin has worked across UK law enforcement, nuclear industry and automotive, promoting lean cyber security as a strategy for corporate transformation. He is the author of four books and numerous articles on privacy management, cybernetics and future studies. His recent feature documentary, ‘Machina; Building the Immortal Technologies’, won the Gold Award at the New York Sound and Vision Film Festival 2020.
